Happy back to school!

If everything has a time and a season is there for all things then this time is the season of creating things... at least for me. I have worked for a long amount of time outside in the expansive Michigan wilderness... interstate 94, working on a crew of brute construction workers full of spiteful words and mouths full of rotting teeth. For almost the entire summer i sweat under the sun and toiled endlessly to the point that i was unable to think very deeply at any given point during these last months. Beyond thinking i was furthermore kept by exhaustion and fatigue of all kinds from developing my mind or my hand's ability to make things, except of course construction work. In and outside of my self i wandered with my mind tagging along, a few stiff drinks assisted the journey. I wandered in and out of consciousness and drifted to my basement where i kept cans of paint and musical instruments. After having left this stupendous stupor i regained a minimal level of reasoning and ever since i have been flooding myself with ideas of what to do with my hands and hours now that they are not occupied with shovels and heavy machinery. i have been painting and drawing shapes and colors enough to where i want to draw and paint more of them. i am looking forward with a certain level of youthful and ambitious exuberance that is not entirely reasonable for a man of my age to be experiencing, this at the mere thought of making more things such as taking photographs and spray painting stencils all over the world. and so now that i have rambled myself into a literary corner and i have no idea of where to begin to end this i am okay with leaving completion for those with higher places in art and politics than i. and so now i will embark on an academic marking period where i will try to push myself into places that artistically and legally i shant not be treading and hopefully with a small amount of luck and hard work i will find myself a year from now surrounded in a year's worth of work looking at year old pictures and not being able to recognize the old me. Happy back to school!

The only unique thing about my art is that it is the same as everyone else's.
